2 Mini Hauls: Videos

I have also done a lot of shopping from boots and super drug this week and recorded a couple of quick videos :)

Hope you Enjoy!

PS: I've taken on board some comments and thinned my eyebrows, they've also gone back to they're natural colour (black) after I lightened them in the summer, I've also dyed my hair dark again. Hence why I may look slightly different :D

Make-Up for Blue Eyes

Hello every one!
my friend lara has lovely blue eyes so I thought I would give you a few tips on how to make your blue eyes stand out! Enjoy
(SIDE NOTE: I actually filmed the application of her make-up but problems with editing, DAMN YOU WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER! means that I can't...)

EYES
1. Too Faced Shadow insurance primer (£17.00) I used this on laras lids, to make the eye shadows show up more intense and last longer, the MUA eye primer is just as good however and fraction of the price at £2.50!

2. Too faced Insurance Policy pallete (£23.50) I used the shade "Socialite"(I didn't realise how expensive this eye-shadow palette is I got a too faced set in T.K. Maxx for £7.99 which had this and a bunch of other too faced products like the bronzer and primer, so keep a look out for the deals!)

- any copper shade will do, to make blue eyes stand out using a colour with a orangy-red undertone, will really clash with the eye colour and make it pop! See below how the blues are on the opposite side of the colour wheel to the orange and red!

I Applied the colour all over the lid and also on the inner half of her lower lash line. it really made her eyes POP

3. MAC Mystery e/s (£10.00/£12.50) - I used this to deepen up the look, and blended it into the outer half of Laras lid and also on the outer half of her lower lash line.

4. Dior Show Extase Mascara (£23.00) - This was laras own mascara and looked lovely on her lashes.

(I filled Laras eyebrows in with Naked and Buck from the NAKED Palette.)

FACE
1. GOSH Foundation Primer (£12.99-on offer at the moment for £7.99) - I've talked about this primer so much, I'm going to write a blog post on it soon :)

2. Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation (£5.99) - I used Laras own foundation, I'll be honest with you, it was awful so I mixed in some MAC Studio Scuplt to help me work with it a bit better.

3. Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer (£7.49) - this concealer is great for people who have trouble with there concealer creasing under their eyes as it has a cream to powder finish, which I think Is really unique, I used this on Laras under eye area and on any blemishes.

4. Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder (£12.00) - THE BEST POWDER EVER. I used this down her t-zone just to set the foundation and concealer we used before.

5. Bourjois Delice de poudre Bronzing Powder - also known as the "Chocolate Bronzer" (£6.99) - I used this to warm up Laras complexion slightly

6. MAC Well Dressed Blush (£18.00) - This is one of my all time favourite Blushes, its a lovely cool-toned pink that i think went with her eye make-up really well
7. MAC Extra-Dimension Skinfinish in Definitely Defined (Ldt. Ed) - This is a beautiful product I used to highlight her cheekbones, this product is limited edition but any other mac skinfinishes would do the trick too.

LIPS
1. MAC Lipstick in HUE (£15.00) - this is a soft pale pink that I though really suited lara and the eye make-up.

2. Benefit Dandelion lipgloss (£14.50) - I applied this on top of HUE for some extra shine.

AND THATS IT :)

I hope you found this helpful and thank you for reading!

Long Lasting - Night Out Make-Up look

Hi everyone, my friend Georgia came round this evening and I thought I would do her make-up just for fun.
Georgia has had problems with make-up sliding off her face on during a night out, even though her skin isn't oily. So I taught her a few tips and tricks to get her make-up to last all night long :)

FACE
1. GOSH Foundation Primer - (£12.99) First and foremost I primed her skin with my all-time favourite primer. This is honestly the best thing if you find your make-up just doesn't seem to last. It creates a really nice base for your foundation.

2. MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation: NC30 - (£25.00) This is an excellent full coverage foundation that is also packed full of moisture and isn't drying. It's also one of the few foundations that do this.It gives a nice dewy finish. Because it's a gel-based foundation it lasts a really long time. Especially when set properly with a powder. I applied this with a clinique foundation brush.

3. MAC Studio Finish Concealer: NC30 - (£15.00) this is a full-proof, full-coverage concealer that I used under Georgias eyes and only any blemishes. I find this a little drying under my own eyes but it seemed to work well under Georgias eyes.

4. Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer: Soft Beige - (£5.49) I used this to highlight under Georgia's eyes and on her forehead, cupids bow, cheekbones and chin. This gives a natural glow.

5. Revlon ColourStay Foundation: Natural Tan - (£12.49) I used this as a my first layer of contour. As this name suggests this lasts a very long time on the skin and will last all night. I used this under her cheekbones through her temples and on her jawline. As you can see in the photo Georgia has a lovely bone structure that is easily defines.

6. NYC Sunny Bronzer - I bought this from eBay. This is an excellent matte bronzer that I used to set the foundation to ensure longevity and further enhance the contour.

7. Soap and Glory - One Heck of a Blot Powder - (£12.00) I used a elf powder brush to really pat it into the  make-up to really set it in place. This is honestly the best powder I have ever used. Powdering the skins sets all the creams and liquids and ensures everything stays put.

8. MAC Mineralize Blush: Warm Soul - (£20.00)  This is a really subtle blush that just warms up the skin a little bit and is perfect for people who are a little afraid of a bright blush.

EYES & BROWS
9. MAC Charcoal Brown e/s (£10.00/£12.50) - I used this to fill Georgias eyebrows in.

10. Two Faced Shadow Insurance Primer (£17.00) I used this to prime the lids ready for eyeshadow. This makes the eyeshadows show up more intense and last all night too.

11. MAC Woodwinked e/s (£10.00/£12.50This is a warm antique bronze and its absolutely stunning! It's one of my favourite MAC eyeshadows. I pat this all over the lids with a flat shader brush and blended it out, and I also used this on the lower lash line on the inner half.

12. MAC Mystery e/s (£10.00/£12.50) Georgia hasn't got very much lid space, so instead of applying a lot straight into the crease I applied it to the outer corner and blended a small amount through the socket. I also applied it to the lower lash line on the outer corner.

13. MAC Nylon e/s (£10.00/£12.50) I used this as an inner corner highlight.

14. MAC Vanilla e/s (£10.00/£12.50) I used this as a brow bone highlight.

15. Maybelline Gel Liner (£7.99) I drew a very thin line on Georgias lash line. This is more long lasting than a liquid liner, so it was a must for this look.

16. GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner Pencil: Truly Brown (£4.99): I used this in Georgias waterline to further define the eyes. This is a waterproof eyeliner so will last all night!

17. Maybelline the Falsies Mascara: Waterproof: (£7.99) I love the original Falsies but for nights out the waterproof formula really increases wear time. I used on the top and bottom lashes.

LIPS
18. Maybelline Superstay 14hr Lipstick - Beige for Good (£6.99) I love the formula of this lipstick its super long lasting but its still moisturising. The colour is one of my favourite nudes, it reminds me of MACS Velvet teddy but it stays on the lips for a lot longer.

AND THATS IT!
A whole lot of products but I love this look :)
