Georgia has had problems with make-up sliding off her face on during a night out, even though her skin isn't oily. So I taught her a few tips and tricks to get her make-up to last all night long :)
FACE
1. GOSH Foundation Primer - (£12.99) First and foremost I primed her skin with my all-time favourite primer. This is honestly the best thing if you find your make-up just doesn't seem to last. It creates a really nice base for your foundation.
2. MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation: NC30 - (£25.00) This is an excellent full coverage foundation that is also packed full of moisture and isn't drying. It's also one of the few foundations that do this.It gives a nice dewy finish. Because it's a gel-based foundation it lasts a really long time. Especially when set properly with a powder. I applied this with a clinique foundation brush.
3. MAC Studio Finish Concealer: NC30 - (£15.00) this is a full-proof, full-coverage concealer that I used under Georgias eyes and only any blemishes. I find this a little drying under my own eyes but it seemed to work well under Georgias eyes.
4. Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer: Soft Beige - (£5.49) I used this to highlight under Georgia's eyes and on her forehead, cupids bow, cheekbones and chin. This gives a natural glow.
5. Revlon ColourStay Foundation: Natural Tan - (£12.49) I used this as a my first layer of contour. As this name suggests this lasts a very long time on the skin and will last all night. I used this under her cheekbones through her temples and on her jawline. As you can see in the photo Georgia has a lovely bone structure that is easily defines.
6. NYC Sunny Bronzer - I bought this from eBay. This is an excellent matte bronzer that I used to set the foundation to ensure longevity and further enhance the contour.
7. Soap and Glory - One Heck of a Blot Powder - (£12.00) I used a elf powder brush to really pat it into the make-up to really set it in place. This is honestly the best powder I have ever used. Powdering the skins sets all the creams and liquids and ensures everything stays put.
8. MAC Mineralize Blush: Warm Soul - (£20.00) This is a really subtle blush that just warms up the skin a little bit and is perfect for people who are a little afraid of a bright blush.
EYES & BROWS
10. Two Faced Shadow Insurance Primer (£17.00) I used this to prime the lids ready for eyeshadow. This makes the eyeshadows show up more intense and last all night too.
11. MAC Woodwinked e/s (£10.00/£12.50) This is a warm antique bronze and its absolutely stunning! It's one of my favourite MAC eyeshadows. I pat this all over the lids with a flat shader brush and blended it out, and I also used this on the lower lash line on the inner half.
12. MAC Mystery e/s (£10.00/£12.50) Georgia hasn't got very much lid space, so instead of applying a lot straight into the crease I applied it to the outer corner and blended a small amount through the socket. I also applied it to the lower lash line on the outer corner.
15. Maybelline Gel Liner (£7.99) I drew a very thin line on Georgias lash line. This is more long lasting than a liquid liner, so it was a must for this look.
16. GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner Pencil: Truly Brown (£4.99): I used this in Georgias waterline to further define the eyes. This is a waterproof eyeliner so will last all night!
17. Maybelline the Falsies Mascara: Waterproof: (£7.99) I love the original Falsies but for nights out the waterproof formula really increases wear time. I used on the top and bottom lashes.
LIPS
18. Maybelline Superstay 14hr Lipstick - Beige for Good (£6.99) I love the formula of this lipstick its super long lasting but its still moisturising. The colour is one of my favourite nudes, it reminds me of MACS Velvet teddy but it stays on the lips for a lot longer.
AND THATS IT!
A whole lot of products but I love this look :)
