Long Lasting - Night Out Make-Up look

Hi everyone, my friend Georgia came round this evening and I thought I would do her make-up just for fun.
Georgia has had problems with make-up sliding off her face on during a night out, even though her skin isn't oily. So I taught her a few tips and tricks to get her make-up to last all night long :)

FACE
1. GOSH Foundation Primer - (£12.99) First and foremost I primed her skin with my all-time favourite primer. This is honestly the best thing if you find your make-up just doesn't seem to last. It creates a really nice base for your foundation.

2. MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation: NC30 - (£25.00) This is an excellent full coverage foundation that is also packed full of moisture and isn't drying. It's also one of the few foundations that do this.It gives a nice dewy finish. Because it's a gel-based foundation it lasts a really long time. Especially when set properly with a powder. I applied this with a clinique foundation brush.

3. MAC Studio Finish Concealer: NC30 - (£15.00) this is a full-proof, full-coverage concealer that I used under Georgias eyes and only any blemishes. I find this a little drying under my own eyes but it seemed to work well under Georgias eyes.

4. Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer: Soft Beige - (£5.49) I used this to highlight under Georgia's eyes and on her forehead, cupids bow, cheekbones and chin. This gives a natural glow.

5. Revlon ColourStay Foundation: Natural Tan - (£12.49) I used this as a my first layer of contour. As this name suggests this lasts a very long time on the skin and will last all night. I used this under her cheekbones through her temples and on her jawline. As you can see in the photo Georgia has a lovely bone structure that is easily defines.

6. NYC Sunny Bronzer - I bought this from eBay. This is an excellent matte bronzer that I used to set the foundation to ensure longevity and further enhance the contour.

7. Soap and Glory - One Heck of a Blot Powder - (£12.00) I used a elf powder brush to really pat it into the  make-up to really set it in place. This is honestly the best powder I have ever used. Powdering the skins sets all the creams and liquids and ensures everything stays put.

8. MAC Mineralize Blush: Warm Soul - (£20.00)  This is a really subtle blush that just warms up the skin a little bit and is perfect for people who are a little afraid of a bright blush.

EYES & BROWS
9. MAC Charcoal Brown e/s (£10.00/£12.50) - I used this to fill Georgias eyebrows in.

10. Two Faced Shadow Insurance Primer (£17.00) I used this to prime the lids ready for eyeshadow. This makes the eyeshadows show up more intense and last all night too.

11. MAC Woodwinked e/s (£10.00/£12.50This is a warm antique bronze and its absolutely stunning! It's one of my favourite MAC eyeshadows. I pat this all over the lids with a flat shader brush and blended it out, and I also used this on the lower lash line on the inner half.

12. MAC Mystery e/s (£10.00/£12.50) Georgia hasn't got very much lid space, so instead of applying a lot straight into the crease I applied it to the outer corner and blended a small amount through the socket. I also applied it to the lower lash line on the outer corner.

13. MAC Nylon e/s (£10.00/£12.50) I used this as an inner corner highlight.

14. MAC Vanilla e/s (£10.00/£12.50) I used this as a brow bone highlight.

15. Maybelline Gel Liner (£7.99) I drew a very thin line on Georgias lash line. This is more long lasting than a liquid liner, so it was a must for this look.

16. GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner Pencil: Truly Brown (£4.99): I used this in Georgias waterline to further define the eyes. This is a waterproof eyeliner so will last all night!

17. Maybelline the Falsies Mascara: Waterproof: (£7.99) I love the original Falsies but for nights out the waterproof formula really increases wear time. I used on the top and bottom lashes.

LIPS
18. Maybelline Superstay 14hr Lipstick - Beige for Good (£6.99) I love the formula of this lipstick its super long lasting but its still moisturising. The colour is one of my favourite nudes, it reminds me of MACS Velvet teddy but it stays on the lips for a lot longer.

AND THATS IT!
A whole lot of products but I love this look :)

Estee Lauder Signature 5-Tone Shimmer Powder: REVIEW

A few days ago my favourite highlighter (MAC extra dimension skinfinish - definitely defined) broke. So I had been looking into a buying a new highlighter.
I had tried the Dior amber diamond highlighter before, which I really enjoyed for about 2 days until it broke...
And now its really hard to get hold of anyway so repurchasing that was a no-no...

Then I remembered hearing about the limited edition estee lauder blush/highlighter in Tease. But that also was limited edition therefore it too, was a no-no...

But whilst browing the counter I came across the Signature 5-Tone Shimmer Powder which look very similar to the dior highlighters, so I gave them a swatch and went over to the Dior counter and compared products. EXACTLY the same, if not better. the Estee Lauder highlighter is much more natural looking and has absolutely no chunks of glitter, it just adds a beautiful, almost glossy, shine to the cheeks.
Also if I want a bit of colour on my cheeks I just swirl a bit more of the red colour in the corner and it just creates the most amazing finish.

I absolutely love this highlighter, but retailing at £30.00 means it's not very cheap, but I would definitely recommend this as a little treat to yourself on payday :)

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5: Review

La Roche-Posay are one of my favourite skincare brands, as I have sensitive skin, there products are really gentle and are generally very good.

This is a moisturiser that can be used on your body and face.
I picked mine up on holiday to try out and I love it so much.

It's been compared to Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour cream, which I also love, however I only use it on my lips as I find it a bit to greasy to use on my skin and it takes a while to sink in.

Cicaplast Baume B5 can be used for the following:

- Chapped Lips -
- Dry or Cracked Skin
- Skin tightness
- Minor everyday Injuries such as grazes and burns - I cut my foot on a shell at the beach and this helped it heal really well!
- sensitive and irritated skin
- and it can also be used on babies because it's paraben-free and lanolin-free
- When I was on holiday my shoulders burnt a little bit, I put some of the cream on at night before bed and my sunburn was completely gone! Amazing!

Properties
1. SOOTHE:
Panthenol 5% - Also known as Vitamin B5, it has recognised soothing and comforting properties.
2. PROTECT:
Anti-bacterial action
3. REPAIR:
Madecassoside - Stimulates renewal of skin's cells and nourishing texture
Glycerin and Shea Butter and La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water soothes and softens the skin.

This really is a wonderful product, not only does it have multiple uses but I actually like to use it as a night cream as my skin gets quite tight and sensitive after washing my face. I've found its made massive improvements to the look and feel of my skin.
This is a wonderful cream to have around the house as it has many uses, So I can't rate it enough!

have you tried any La-Roche Posay products? Whats your favourite?

My Current Wishlist!

1. MAC Frankly Scarlett Blush (£18.00) - I have been lusting after this shade to add to my collection ever since I saw my favourite youtuber Tanya Burr use this blush. As I am a lover of bright, over the top blush colours, and I can't wait to pick this one up!

2. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on pencil in Scorch (£14.00) - these eyeliners are fantastic quality and this shade is perfect for summer, there are a whopping 52 shades to choose from! 52! I had no idea there were so many!

3. Nikon 1 Camera - I basically need a good camera to take photos for my blog as I'm getting tired of these mediocre iPhone photos! My dad has this camera and it takes such good quality photos and is also quite compact, so perfect to carry around with me as well :)

4. MAC All That Glitters Eyeshadow (£12.50) - a classic shade everyone but me seems to have, I don't know why I haven't picked this up yet!

5. La Roche-Posay Anthelios AC Extreme Fluid SPF 30 (£11.62) - My friend Izzy from Redheadraves (follow her! we did a video together!) loves this product, she uses the factor 50 version, I think that's a little to high for me so I am choosing to go with the SPF 30 version. I borrowed hers when we went on holiday and it really is amazing, it's very liquidly and quickly absorbs into the skin. I loved it so much I am planning on getting my own as apparently England has chosen to be very hot and exotic this summer! (Not that I'm complaining)

Thank you so much for reading and please tell me what you've been lusting after recently!

Make Up For Glasses: Video

So, lets cut to the chase, I wear glasses. Obviously, HA!
But I often find it hard for make-up to still be eye catching whilst wearing my heavy frames.
So I made a little tutorial on how I wear my make-up when I am wearing my glasses (the only time I feel I can get away with a bright red lip!)

Estée Lauder Pure Color Sheer Rush Lip Shine - Review

I have been a fan of Estee Lauder for a while now. So when I saw there new summer collection "Cello Shots" I was obviously going to investigate, the main event of the selection is the liquid blushes, but none of them seem to show up on my skin :( so I opted for the sheer lipsticks and saw the shade "02 Pink Patent" a gorgeous sheer pink. (£19.50)

The packaging is simple and I love how the colour of the packaging is the same as the lipstick inside.

the colour is sheer but still shows up well on the lips and is very natural looking, which personally, I love.
If you're looking for a strong pigmented lipstick, this may not be what you want. Which is still super pretty!
