Current Make-Up Storage

My make- is all stored in my chest of 6 drawers I purchased from ikea, it's part of the MALM series (£75.00) I only use the top three drawers.. so far haha :)

the chest of drawers has this cool 'lid' type thing where you can open it to have the mirror showing which is just how I always keep it.
On the top I keep all my everyday make-up in a muji container, so things like MAC brushes and my palette and most worn lipsticks and things like that, I also keep a little buddha figurine on here for good measure :) also some lip balm and chewing gum for the mornings :D

Next is the top drawer which holds all of my eye products including false lashes, sleek palettes, the NAKED palette, a few NARS duos and a bunch of miscellaneous which is just popped into the lid of one of my Glossybox's.

Now onto the second drawer, this is the least organised area, I keep 2 Glossybox lids in here also, one for all my high end blushes and the other for powders and bronzers and highlighters. Then I just keep the drugstore/highstreet blushes to the side

Last but not least, on to the big deep drawer, DUN DUN DUUUUN

Here's a closer look, in the back are all my lip products I don't use a whole lot and next to that are a bunch of baby wipes for wiping off swatches and on top of them is my Estee Lauder make-up bag

In the front I keep concealers, samples and foundations, everything from Natural Collection and Maybelline  to MAC, NARS and Chanel. I also keep brushes, I don't use so much, in a mug and a few supplements to remember for the morning :D

Thank You for Reading :)
xoxo

Elemis Balancing Lavender Toner - Review

Skin type: Normal to Combination - as in mostly normal but at times slightly oily or slight dry in places so my main goal is to keep it balanced.

You will soon learn that I am a skincare fanatic. I am obsessed with keeping my skin in check.

PROS:
This toner is amazing it smells like lavender but not to overpowering and its so soothing.
My skin can be sensitive at times and this really helps, and it doesn't sting me like a lot of toners can because it doesn't contain any alcohol AMAZING
I feel my face is squeaky clean after and it balances the pH of my skin keeping everything looking normal
I've also noticed a reduction in the size of pores, which is a bonus!

How I use it: I just spray it a few times on a cotton pad and wipe it all over my face after cleansing and before any serums or moisturiser.

CON:
the only downside to this product is that is runs out really fast, like... really fast. You can actually see it go down everytime you spray it, but I don't mind too much because the benefits out-weigh the only con :)

9/10!

FOTN: My go-to make-up for nights out

Once again, here is my face!

and here is eveything I slapped on.. again.

TAKE A DEEP BREATH

We'll start with the face...
 1) Revlon PhotoReady Foundation - Golden Beige: First off, the colour is perfect for me!and this foundation is great for evenings when you know a lot of photos are going to be taken because it doesn't have any awful flashback. (review coming soon)
2) Bobbi Brown Corrector - Light Peach: I have loved this product for soooo long, and talk about it constantly, it just gets rid of horrible non-skin-tone colours under the eye.
3) Revlon PhotoReady Concealer - Light/Medium 002: This is the best drugstore/highstreet concealer I have found and also looks great in photos, super full coverage and long-lasting.
4) Rimmel Stay Matte Powder - Sandstorm 004: I just powder a little bit through the centre of my face and BAM.. flawless.
5) NARS Bronzer - Laguna: I used this to contour my cheeks and add warmth to my face.
6) MAC Blush - Well Dressed: This is an ultra light cool toned pink, looks great with heavy eye make-up.
7) MAC Creme Colour Base - Pearl: I dotted and blended this cream over my cheekbones to highlight them.
8) MAC Mineralize Skinfinish - Soft and gentle: I put this over the top of the cream highlight so it lasts all night and gives an extra shine.

Next is the eyes...

1) MAC Eyeshadow - Brun: I used this to fill in my brows.
2) Urban Decay Primer Potion: I used to this to prime my eyes and keep the shadows on all night.
3) MAC Eyeshadow - Naked Lunch: A light shimmery pink I put all over the inner half of the eyelids and on the brow-bone.
4) MAC Eyeshadow - Satin Taupe: One of my all-time favourite MAC eyeshadows, I placed this on the outer halves of the eyelids, and under the eye on the bottom lashline.
5) MAC Eyeshadow - Quarry: A matte taupe shade I used in my crease.
6) MAC Eyeshadow - Smut: A really dark reddish-brown which I used to deepen the outer corners and slightly through crease and on the outer corner of the bottom lashline.
7) MAC Creme Colour Base - Pearl: I used this as an inner corner highlight.
8) Bobbi Brown Gel Eye Liner - Black Ink: this is a really long wearing gel liner, perfect for nights out. I just lined my top lashline quite thick with this.
9) Elizabeth Arden Pencil Eye Liner - Smokey Black: This is the best black eyeliner I've found and I use this in my water line, top and bottom.
10) Shu Uremura Eyelash Curlers + Ebay Lashes
11) Bourjois Liner Effect Mascara: A few lashings of this and you're eyes are ready :)

And all I wore on my lips, is the Barry M Lipgloss in Coral 11. YAY!

Beauty Personality Sunday

Every Sunday I'm going to start a Beauty Personality Sunday and tell you about who I have been loving that week :) Fun huh?
SO I thought why not start with my favourite beauty guru of all time...

TANYA BURR

If you didn't know, which you probably do, Tanya Burr is Pixi2woo on YouTube with a load of subscribers and is pretty amazing.
She is a really talented make-up artist and is always uploading wonderful tutorials, I love her videos and get pretty excited when she uploads new ones. She is really girly and fun to watch.
I trust her opinion a lot when it comes to products.
I'm talking as if my opinion has any value haha! but I really wanted to talk about her.
I am a woman obsessed!

So if you live under a rock and haven't checked her out, I suggest you do so!

Products I use to get my face

This is my face :D

And this is everything I slap on :)

1) Chanel Vita Lumière Aqua foundation - 30 Beige. This stuff is amazing, my skin looks perfected but still looks like skin. Incredible it is a tad on the pricey side (£32.00) but it  really is a lovely product.
2) Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer - Natural. I have been using this recently on my blemishes and I have to say, I really like it. When I first bought this I hated it because It creased unbelievably under my eyes, but it works really well on the face. (£18.00)
3) Bobbi Brown Corrector - Light Peach. I have loved this product for so long now, its peachy tones cancel out any blue or green colouration under my eyes, it's a must-have for tired looking eyes. (£18.00)
4) MAC Brun eyeshadow (Top row - middle). This is just a standard matte dark brown I use to fill in my brows. (£10.00)
5) MAC Ricepaper eyeshadow (Top right). I use this to highlight my inner corners. (£10.00)
6) Rimmel Stay Matte powder - Sandstorm 004. This is the best powder I have ever used, it makes my skin look really good, And it's sooo cheap at only £3.99
7) NARS Laguna Bronzer. Have already raved about this here, so I won't bang on for too long. Basically, I love it!
8) Rimmel Blush - Santa Rose. This is a really light peachy pink blush which I just adore for everyday. (£3.99)
9) MAC Cream Colour Base - Pearl. I use this as my everyday highlight (review coming soon), it adds a really natural glow and lasts all day on my skin. (£13.50)
10) Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers. I bought these for £3.70 off ebay A STEAL! they're great! really extend my lashes.
11) MAC Eye Khol - Teddy. This is my everyday eyeliner, I use this in my waterline and on my top lashline, its a beautiful brown with gold shimmer. It adds definition but it's not as harsh as black. You can also use it as a eyeshadow which is a bonus! (£14.00)
12) Maybelline Falsies Flared Mascara. This is my new favourite mascara, its so intense I LOVE IT. I love dramatic lashes so these are a must for me. (£7.99)
13) Maybelline Baby Lips - Pink Punch. This is such a moisturising lip balm, but I also use it as my go to lipstick. and it smells like Fanta - bonus! These aren't available in the UK at the moment so I purchased mine off ebay, from this seller.
14) Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray - (review coming soon) but in short, keeps my make-up in place :D

Essie - Fiji

Essie is one of my favourites brands for nail varnish, I thinks it's due to the amazing colour selection!
So naturally when the diffusion line was released onto the high-street, I popped into my local boots and picked up a few (5) bottles. Fiji, being one of them. Ever since I saw Tanya Burr rocking this colour I knew I wanted it.
The colour is and ultra light pastelly pink, that on my skin-tone can sometimes look white. Its super girly and makes my hands look tanned.
I have heard the nicest things said about the diffusion lines formula and how amazing it is. However I actually prefer the original formula because the brush is more precise and is a thinner consistency so it doesn't go as gloopy.
But as a nail polish in its self, it's really very good, and you should definitely check it out !

bareMinerals - Truth. Eyeshadow Quad Review

(Top Left - Serendipitous, Top Right - Magnetism, Bottom Left - Fate, Bottom Right - Apropos)

Serendipitous - is a light beige with a slight shimmer
Magnetism - is a brown with a bit of grey within it, the finish is almost metallic, really cool stuff. This shade actually reminds be a bit of satin taupe by MAC but more reflective, I love this colour.
Fate - Is a mid-toned brown with a slight redness to it, with a satin finish. Absolutely great crease colour.
Apropos - a deep taupe colour great to deepen a look, it has flecks of silver glitter it which transfers onto the eyes with no fallout AMAZING!

The quality of these eyeshadows are great, the colours go well and are really pigmented. Great for travelling as the deepest colour can smoke up any daytime look.

9/10!

Holy Grail Bronzer

Here are my thoughts on this cult classic bronzer...

NARS Laguna (£25.00) is a bronzer with a very subtle shimmer, I don't find this bronzer to be at all orangey on my skin-tone, however some of my paler friends find this a tad too warm for their skin. The great thing about this product is that it is so easy to blend, so I don't worry at all if I applied to much.
I use this to contour my cheeks and on the high points of my face to give me a sunkissed glow :) I can never get this effect with a matte bronzer.
 (FIST PUMP SWATCH)

basically I love this product - not a surprise as its nearly everyone's favourite too. But it's such a feel-good bronzer, i just feel prettier when I apply it.

3 products for gorgeous lips

I suffer with very dry lips and often they can look dry when I apply lipstick... not a good look.
So I start off by exfoliating my lips well with one of the most delicious products ever, Lush's Mint Julips lip scrub (£5.25). This basically just gets rid of any ugly dead skin on my lips, then I just lick it off, YUMMY - it tastes like chocolate and mint
Then I use my favourite lip balm, Lush's Honey Trap lip balm (£5.50), this is brilliant under lipsticks because it sinks in fast and it matte.
At night I always remember to use my mini Elizabeth Eight Hour cream (£9.95) to really nourish my lips while I sleep :)
